Explosion-proof lighting fixtures are widely used in hazardous areas where flammable and explosive gases, dust, coal mine hazards and other dangerous substances exist.
Classified by their application functions, explosion-proof lighting fixtures include head-mounted, fixed-mounted and portable types; by light source type, they are divided into incandescent lamps, fluorescent lamps, LED lamps and other variants.
The most common explosion protection types include intrinsically safe type, flameproof type, increased safety type, encapsulated type, composite type (whose explosion-proof performance is achieved by two or more explosion protection methods), and dust explosion-proof type.
In particular, starting from May 1, 2024, all types of explosion-proof lighting fixtures must obtain the Ex 3C certification certificate to enter the explosion-proof market.
STS has long specialized in the design of explosion-proof products and consulting services for explosion-proof certification. We boast numerous successful cases in the certification acquisition of explosion-proof lighting fixtures, and have successfully assisted clients in obtaining domestic Ex Certificates, Ex 3C certification certificates, ATEX Certificates, IECEx Certificates, MA (Mine Approval) Certificates and other relevant certifications.
